Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your Leannoku account and every piece of Facebook and Instagram data we hold about you at any time. We respond within 30 days.

1. How to request deletion

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request — Leannoku" from the email address associated with your account.

Please include:

• The email address on your Leannoku account
• The Facebook Page names or Instagram handles you had connected (if you remember them — not required)
• Whether you also want the linked Facebook OAuth grant revoked (we will revoke it as part of deletion either way; this just helps us confirm)

2. What we delete

Within 30 days of confirming your request, we delete:

• Your user account (email, name, password hash)
• All stored Facebook and Instagram access tokens (user-level and Page-level)
• All scheduled and historical posts created via Leannoku (caption text, media references, scheduled time, platform post IDs)
• All engagement metrics we cached for those posts
• All channel connections (Facebook Page IDs, Instagram Business Account IDs, Business Manager IDs)
• Session records, API logs, and error logs tied to your account

3. What we retain

• Aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics (counts, distributions) that cannot be linked back to you
• Tax and accounting records for the period required by Lithuanian and EU law (typically 10 years for invoices)
• Logs strictly required for security incident investigation, retained only as long as legally necessary

4. What we do not control

Deleting your Leannoku account does not remove posts that were already published to Facebook or Instagram. Those posts live in Meta's platforms and follow Meta's own retention policies. To delete a specific post from Facebook or Instagram, delete it from inside those platforms before requesting Leannoku account deletion (or any time after).

5. Revoking access without deleting your account

If you only want to disconnect a channel (not delete your account), you have two options:

• Inside Leannoku: open Settings → Connections → Disconnect (we delete the relevant access tokens immediately and the rest within 30 days)
• Inside Facebook: visit Facebook Settings → Business Integrations and remove Leannoku. Meta will notify us via the deauthorize callback and we will delete the corresponding tokens within 30 days.

6. Confirmation

Once your deletion is complete, we send a confirmation email to the address you wrote from. If you do not hear back within 30 days, please write again or escalate to [email protected].
